DACWEED project has received funding from the European Union’s EIT Food Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement nª 20140, withing its strategic objective to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted. The increasing public concern about food security and the stricter rules applied word wide concerning herbicide residues in the agri-food chain, reduce consumer acceptance of chemical plant protection. DACWEED project will implement together and combine novel components that already exist on the market in order to site-specifically regulate mechanical weed control and perform site-specific herbicide applications.
